Jim Craven and Grey continue their exploration of islands with another beautiful documentation, this time in Sri Lanka.
After exploring spots from Land’s End to John O’Groats as well as a 1300km trip across Iceland, Lanka sees Jim venture to warmer climates with skaters Oscar Candon, Chris Jones, Keanu Robson, Remy Taveira and Sylvain Tognelli coming along for the ride.
With all the fast paced edits dropping daily to quell humanity’s short attention span, it’s refreshing to see Craven take a slow paced approach to this documentation, allowing scenes to play out uninterrupted.
It’s how one imagines Wim Wenders circa Paris, Texas would film a skate trip. Enjoy.
