A refined visual lesson in surfing of the Haute Performance nature.

It’s no secret that rider owned and operated brands are in vogue at the moment. And none more so then EPØKHE, the first of it’s kind within surfing, and setting the precedent for many to follow. Conceptualised during the filming of Modern Collective, Epøkhe was born from the need from something different in the premium optics sphere.

Fast forward the clock 5 years and here we are. EPØKHE is spinning premium frames worldwide, the surf team we would argue is unparalleled and life is great. We premiered Listen Now Misty Dawn throughout Europe last month, with Kai, Dion, Chippa and BG. And we had a blast. Hossegor, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Bristol. Well technically we started in Paris whilst Kai was putting the final touches to the film, but that’s a story for another time.

Now film tours are always easier over emails. “Let’s do four cities in 6 days” is pleasant, and even fun sounding to write yet the execution can be testing. A rollercoaster of late nights, early mornings, excruciating hangovers, handshakes, clinks of glasses and waiting in Airports. Laughter. Silence. But fuck me is it worth it. LNMD is a up there as the film of the year and we were smitten to tour it around like the beautiful new born it is to the good people of Europe. Dutch Groms. Warehouses in Hossegor. Ever so slightly psychedelic ferry rides in Amsterdam. Torrential Rainpour in Bristol. A party on a Superyacht in Barcelona. Easyjet. Technical Problems. Lost Phones. Absinthe. Taxis. The most glorious of Skueys. A splendid, if not slightly hazy affair….

Listen Now Misty Dawn is now available via for consummation in the comfort of your own home, and leisure of your own time. If you didn’t make it to one of the worldwide premieres, and even if you did – we’d highly recommend, nay insist getting that download.

There is also a highly limited selection of LNMD tee shirts, available here.
