After our recent ‘Retreat’ to the Algarve, we’re delighted to see Dylan Graves take his Weird Waves adventure to Portugal.

But whereas our trip was full of novelty wedges and mysto lefts, Dylan’s trip ventured away from the coast to  Lisbon’s Tagus River to surf what’s known as the Gasoline sandbar, a spot offering a decent wave every 10 minutes or so thanks to the local ferries charging back and fourth.

To sum it up – one person’s commuter traffic is another’s wonderland.
