As NYC slowly reopens, being one of the worst affected cities in America during the pandemic, filmmaker Josh Charow shares this short clip of Kai Roper cruising the eerily quiet streets.
Shot on Super 8mm with music from Kid Hastings, Saturday Afternoon is an ode to downtown Manhattan as it was in the 70s according to Josh’s neighbour Raymond.
“The quiet, empty streets are something that he hasn’t seen here in a very long time”.
