Quasi Skateboards has been building a cult following for quite some time.

Born in Dayton, Ohio by former Alien Workshop employee Chad Bowers, as well as former AWS riders Jake Johnson, Gilbert Crockett & Tyler Bledsoe, Quasi Skateboards, originally called Mother Collective, until Bowers received a cease-and-desist order, has grown to become one of the most prominent and exciting board brands out there.

Consistently evolving whilst being agnostic to any one style and having since added the likes of Dick Rizzo, Justin Henry & Bobby De Keyzer to the team, to name a few, Quasi have steadily built a roster of heavy hitters whilst remaining true to their Ohio roots.

To coincide with the upcoming Vans x Quasi collection, Patrick O’Dell, renowned for his Epicly Later’d series, sat down with Chad to discuss the brand’s creative process and his natural compulsion to create and do his own thing, regardless of the status quo.
