Form, Space and Chaos is an atmospheric portrait of Cairo, Egypt during torrential rain.

Director Karim Shaaban uses weather as a metaphor to the chaos of what an underprepared city and its dwellers have to experience when the “unexpected” happens, in contrast to the usual chaos that is the city itself.

Fawzi Darwish‘s mixed medium cinematography takes viewers on a journey through different neighborhoods in Cairo, while the Egyptian Painter Salah Taher shares his views about the city on Egyptian national radio.
