We first met Jake Mckeown over in Australia (ah, the ease of travel in the old days!) when we were visiting a few years back.
A friend of filmmaker Max Zappas introduced us and, as those things go, soon his friend became our friend as well. A few Coopers were sunk and one thing led to another and soon the lanky blonde mentioned he was making his way to South West France. He took to knocking around cafes with a book in one hand and a cigarette quite nicely. So much so that he provided us with an excellent playlist of his favourite old European bands before returning home.
Jake is pretty handy with a bit of fiberglass, too. We knew this but it’s fantastic to see him join the M/SF/T. Very well deserved.
