Highly likely that, if you’re reading this right now, you have at least a board or two just laying around.

Oh, but it’s so fun you tell yourself. You just need to drop a couple of kilos before the volumne is right, and you’ve been running and all so it’s only a matter of time. Yeah, okay. Sure. Or, oh, there’s the one you think is great, it’s just you don’t quite like how it bottom turns, is all. You’re just waiting for a proper swell to come in for it, you tell everyone else.

Meanwhile, they’ve been sitting on your garage rack for the better part of two years now. And there are better things you can do with them other than let them gather more dust. Like: surfboards for Senegal.

The concept is simple, you donate boards and wetsuits at Wasted Talent Boutique, and our good friends at Billabong ship them to Senegal. Straight to the kids in the communities that need them most.

Will we get clobbered by airline oversized baggage fees when we fly over there next week? Of course. Do we care? Absolutely not. Because it’s all for an amazing cause.

Please drop any donations at Wasted Talent Boutique, 202 Ave de Remouleurs, Soorts Hossegor, France. We’re in today until Friday 10 am – 4 pm.

Thank you in advance, and see you then.
