Super Gab is the latest experimental delight from Swedish based, Irish filmmaker Phil Evans.
Following on in the much the same vein as his previous release Strip, Super Gab follows Gabriel Viking skating across Malmö cut to the trippy sounds of Terry Riley’s ‘A Rainbow in Curved Air’.
Shot entirely on Super 8 film, namely Kodak Tri-X & Ektachrome 100D, which were manually painted on afterwards, Super Gab highlights why Phil might be the most patient filmmaker working in skateboarding today.
