The Billabong and Wasted Talent team had the privilege of visiting Morocco this past Winter for the making of ‘Did You Hear The Falling Rose?’. We’ve been collectively devastated by the tragic events that have caused untold damage and loss in central Morocco on September the 8th.
To do our bit and try and help as much the amazing people that so kindly opened their homes, waves and country to us we’ve teamed up with the Billabong athletes and ambassadors who have donated their (signed!) surfboards to raise money for the High Atlas Foundation. Athletes such as Italo Ferreira, Ethan Ewing, Jai Glindeman, Joel Parkinson, Laura Enever, Macy Callaghan and Ryan Callinan.
The High Atlas Foundation has been operating in the areas most affected by the earthquake for two decades. Their work is based in community development, and social welfare – providing immediate relief and long term support to the most affected communities by this tragic disaster.
100% of the proceeds from our surfboard auction will go to the High Atlas Foundation who are also accepting direct donations via globalgiving.org
