Our dear friend Zoë McDougall’s latest independent surf clip I Love You.

Shot across Indonesia and Hawaii, as well as France bien sûr, Cory Gehr’s beautifully crafted edit, heavily reminiscent of chic 70s exploitation cinema in it’s aesthetic, perfectly compliments Zoë’s high octane approach, trademark smile in tow, a reminder surfing should always be fun.

Cut to the sounds of LA rock band Automatic and featuring cameos from friends Coco Ho and Caity Simmers, I Love You is a reminder why independent edits with your mates are so important. Especially impressive considering Zoë was competing all year round. With her recent departure from Hurley, we’re pretty keen to see who’s gonna snap up one of the most driven, stylish and down to earth surfers we know.
