This could actually be an anti-smoking ad.
Because let’s face it, no-one smoking here looks particularly happy or attractive.
Judgements aside though, this atmospheric 16mm piece, shot on a roll of 30 metre film by Tarzan Rutgers, hand developed and scanned by Onno Petersen, with sound design by Melle Posthuma de Boer, is aesthetically very pleasing. Mostly due to the nature of Kodak’s exquisite Double-X black and white film stock.
