Film Club. The first rule of Film Club. We talk about Film Club.

Because why not? We all love talking about films. That’s why we took it upon ourself to start a series featuring some of our favourite personalities divulging their top recommendations , those with exquisite taste and boy does our first guest have taste. Stefan Janoski. Over to you.

1) Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai, Jim Jarmusch, 1999

Entertaining, interesting, original, humorous, visually pleasing

2) El Topo, Alejandro Jodorowsky, 1970 /  Santa Sangre, Alejandro Jodorowsky, 1989

Double Feature. Both films offer an amazing visual, mental experience.

3) I Heart Huckabees, David O. Russell, 2004

Just an original smart, funny, and wonderful movie.

4) Schizopolis, Steven Soderbergh, 1996

So funny and original. Weird, insane, and immensely enjoyable.

5) Fantastic Mr Fox, Wes Anderson, 2009

A work of art, with an amazing story and beautiful visuals. Hilarious throughout.

Honourable Mention –

Let The Bullets Fly, Jiang Wen, 2010

Ok I’m gonna stop …. but all of Christopher Guest’s movies too! Ok I’m done.
