Admittedly one of the goals of Film Club was to unearth some gems we’re perhaps unfamiliar with, but every now and then it’s nice to be reminded of some classics that are perhaps long overdue a re-watch.

Enter our favourite Sunshine Coast cum Bundoran local Noah Lane. Despite being busy standing tall at his local spot whilst also managing his local business, Bundoran’s charming new cafe Foam, Noah still found time to hastily send over 5 of his favourite movies in between the swell of cappuccino orders.

Sorry dude, super busy right now and my memory is hardly what it should be. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some but how’s this for films?

1) Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino, 1994

Iconic Tarantino. Iconic soundtrack.

2) Donnie Darko, Richard Kelly, 2001

Join the cult. Everyone has a “Frank” in their ear from time to time.

3) The Matrix, Lana Wachowski & Lilly Wachowski, 1999

In an age of projecting our “best life” the red pill, blue pill scene seems more relevant than ever. Plus those sunglasses…

4) 20, 000 Days on Earth, Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard, 2014

Is there a more creative man than Nick Cave?

5) Occy: The Occumentary, Jack McCoy, 1998

Raging Bull Surf Core.
