You may remember Tom Wood from our An Englishman Abroad vignette several months back.
Having spent time living both in Germany and the U.K. growing up, Tom settled up in Toronto, Canada where he works as a photographer assisting Matt Barnes.
Continuing his fascination with Americana, Tom recently embarked on a trip to California but rather than getting stuck in the LA shit bubble for two weeks, he ventured out to the likes of Palm Springs, Joshua tree, Death Valley & Lone Pine.
In his own words “I got to see some incredible landscapes and shoot similar scenes to the images I obsess over in books from photographers like Bryan Schutmaat and Stephen Shore”.
