Getting people to submit these playlists can be a bit of a nightmare.
Requests usually met with enthusiasm and promise, quickly disintegrate into a series of one way DMs with no reply.
Luckily for us this wasn’t the case with Yann Horowitz.
“Yann darling how are you? I was wondering if you’d be so kind as to submit a playlist for us?”
“I’d love to man ! Just got back from a skate trip up the coast so staying indoors all day with my dog haha. Will get on it for you now ❤️”.
Within an hour we’re graced with 4 hours of feel good vibes, immediately lifting the Monday blues.
If you’re unfamiliar with Yann, he’s the South African guy from Grosso’s Loveletter to LGBTQ+.
An absolute beast on the board and a gentleman off it, with a mischievous grin always on sight, Yann’s the type that exudes good vibes all day long. It’s only natural his playlist does the same.
