In the world of skate photography, J Grant Brittain is eminent, a true living legend.

He’s been shooting skateboarding for 40 years, capturing as well as shaping its history, and thusly, worldwide popular culture.

Having helped found Transworld Skateboarding Magazine in 1983, Grant served as its photo editor and senior photographer for over 20 years and went on to help start The Skateboard Mag, before focusing on his own commercial and personal projects.

Mac Premo sat down with Grant and talked about process, practice, art and fame. And also golf.

The result is this quick-fire, beautifully edited, seven minute clip of their discussion in the form of 20 questions, each answered in 20 seconds or less.
