Three years on from KAFU, Papi is the latest offering from the Tangram Division, a collective featuring Juan Virues, Thaynan Costa, Felipe Bartolome, Dani Quintero, Jorge Simoes, Carlos Cardenosa, Pali Negrin and Ibu Sanyang.
As always it’s expertly filmed with some ridiculous skating on offer, all whilst subtly highlighting the absurdity of the world around us; newlyweds riding limes, eerie A.I. robots, diggers doing wheelies, “It’s not the end of world”.
Hats off to Dani for this and a reminder that independent passion projects are always the best!
