We first stumbled on Thom Gatt’s photos at Project Upcoming exhibition’s in London’s Parlour Skateshop back in March.
We appreciate a good surprise, and Thom’s work was just that. Shooting skateboarding can quickly become a game of trying to make everything look epic, but Thom keeps it simple and we like it.
After getting in touch with him, it turns out the man is not from Shoreditch, but from a city a few thousands miles away called Sydney. He sent us a bunch of shots and here’s a snapshot of his everyday life, skating through the Australian capital with his friends.
